Alabama Blizzard
If you blinked, you would have almost missed it, but we did see snow Sunday afternoon. The pictures don't really show much, but it really was pretty and fell pretty heavy at times, but not long enough to stick to the ground. Johnny enjoyed getting out and seeing it, though. For Alabamians, this is about as good as it gets, but honestly, I'm just glad I don't have to shovel my way to the mailbox to get the mail-I'll settle for some scattered flurries every few years.

Johnny's First Trip to the Dentist
I took Johnny on Monday to the Alabama Pediatric Dental Association for his very first dental checkup. That is one neat place. I wish I had grown up with a dentist office like that. They have an indoor playground, video games, stuffed animals everywhere and excellent staff that are trained specifically to work with children. Johnny did wonderfully and had a great time.

Starbucks and My Favorite Johnny
What could be better than a coffee break with my favorite Johnny? Now that I have 2 precious children, I can no longer say to Johnny, "you're my favorite little boy". So I've started saying, "you're my favorite Johnny". He's already learning to appreciate a visit to the local Starbucks. Aah, happy times!

Happy Birthday to ME!!!

The Great Outdoors
After being inside for so long, we tend to get cabin fever. Since the weather has warmed up a bit, we have taken advantage of the opportunity to get outside. Both boys LOVE to be outside and it's also a good time to let Johnny exert some energy!!
