This morning as I was reading The Big Picture Bible to Johnny, it was saying how Jesus took away the people's sin, and Johnny said, "and that wasn't nice." I asked him what he meant, and he said, "He took their sin away and that wasn't nice". As you can tell, we are in the "don't take things away from people" stage-well, I guess I can say he's consistent!

Dear Son,
It wouldn't be nice if He took it away only to give it back. However, we are thankful that the christological implications of the substitutionary atonement are many not the least of which is Jesus' work as mediator of the New Covenant is finished. I know you're busy so we can talk about this at a future date.
